They always deliver one of my favorite visual novels on the steam market, and they never disappoint. ENIGMA offers a great story, it lets you play your way and suffer the consequences behind your choices, high replay value due to the multiple ending system, amazing writing and gorgeous art! The only complain I have here is the very low resolution it has. 8/10.. I just completed this and am not quite sure of the best way to articulate my thoughts regarding it here. It is uncommon to read a story written with such heart as this.The main character suffers a magically-induced terminal illness which ravages much of the world, and becomes shipwrecked on an island. This story is mainly about how his final days touch the lives of its inhabitants - for better or worse, according to your choices - and their growth in character.Your in-game choices have consequences which may not be immediately apparent. Sometimes the outcomes are quite dark (as are many of the events along the way), but the true ending leaves one with hope. Exploring all options will grant you probably 20 hours of gameplay - and considerable food for thought.The writing is undoubtedly the best aspect - unconfected, gripping and quite emotive - and the characters are properly-developed and memorable (as they should be), especially the protagonist. The graphics are good (not great), but I find they are drawn in a lovely style. The soundtrack befits the mood and I quite enjoyed it. I imagine that some people would be disappointed by the lack of voice acting and for the price would perhaps find it a reasonable expectation, but it would be a challenge to do the script justice (if you read it, you will understand why) and in any case I believe the storyline more than adequately compensates for this. The translation is quite good - everything parses well into English with very few errors.I give it 1.75 thumbs up - which is high praise from me. Definitely worth the purchase.. ENIGMA is a really well designed VN, in my opinion.I've read/played through all endings, and as such, MY favorite ending is Envirio 1 (Goodnight) ending.I do recommend ENIGMA if you like good stories.. ENIGMA is truly a very unique visual novel. Why? Because it got an interesting, dark and melancholy story which unfolds layer by layer through each playthrough. Because it got relatable, complex and interesting characters. Because it got beautiful graphics and soothing background music. Because it got a great, relaxing atmosphere (at least until the story turns dark).I loved every second of it. Highly recommended!. Great story plot, fanscinating music! And I just can`t stop luving this Chester guy - more or less he reminded me of Kuroto from Hanakisou. He was so real, human, and heartful, though the life was never kind to him. Only played 5 out of 20 (or 25?) endings and they were all desperately tragic... But yeah, you got me there :). the background music fits to game to a Tthe atmosphere it creates is wonderfuland throughout the game you are always keep on your toeswhat may seem like good choices may due to one slight mistep turn competely different to what you expectedi like that about it and the true ending is SOO satisfying.. Multiple endings / 20. A great story about the last days of a former soldier as he tries to do some good before his end, all packed into an interesting fantasy world.The story is great and the artwork simply beautiful.Recommended for everyone who likes fantasy and even those wo don't.. I've got nothing but praise for this game.Amazing graphics, organic dialogue, intriguing story, what more do you want?I bought this game when it only had like 4-5 reviews, which I have never done until now. I spontaneously decided to give it a chance due to its great art style, and I'm glad I did.This game will hit you emotionally in just the right spot. And while most VN's I've played just give you CGs for all the endings and maybe 1-2 along the way, this game accentuates its most beautiful and poignant moments with some drop-dead gorgeous CGs. This game spoiled me with its art.I'm afraid to talk about the story without spoiling anything. I'll just say this: this game has some of the most original "bad ends" I've encountered, rather refreshing to see.. This is the best game I ever played, story is secomd to none. I Cried like 10 times. 11/10
